Long lost blogger

So I feel like I fell off of the map. Maybe the earth! Right after my last post Rodger came in the house with very disturbing news: His computer died. His work computer went A.W.O.L. And the best part was that he hadn't backed up ANY of his work for about, oh say, three months. Three months of lost engineering work! OUCH! Oh wait. It gets better. He took the computer that we use in the house out to his office. So we (read: I) had no computer access at my finger tips. That was ok because we were falling apart at the seams anyway. My dad had surgery for a "suspicious" blockage in his colon on the 8th of March. He missed the hospital so much that he opted for extended stay and went back twice for complications. The result of one of his extenda-stay visits was six liters of fluid removed from his abdomen (test results came back all clear). He only just came home yesterday. Meanwhile, my stepmom's dad - Grandpa, died while my dad was in the hospital. It has been a long month, to say the least. So I am back to the blogosphere. I'm sure that not many of you were loosing sleep over this. Helllllo, anyone out there??? Tap Tap! HELLLOOOO???? Well, we are back in the saddle and going for criticl mass now that soccer has started for everyone! Oh, and I don't even have my own computer yet because the computer that Rodger ordered special from Dell did not have enough hard drive plug ins (is that what those little jobies are called?? Thing-a-ma-jigs where you plug in a cord to upload pics...). So I am using his computer for now and my pics are on the one still in his office. Willow is sooooo cute! She is the best little puppy too! She goes right outside to potty - as long as she is watched like a hawk! Zach got a fingernail in his eyeball yesterday... That was NOT pretty! I'm sure there is a blog somewhere about that particular drama. Rodger tried to cut his nose off with a lamp while helping some friends pack their truck for moving. He survived. So you see? We are moving right along. I'm hoping to be able to sit down and put together a coherent post soon. I'm just glad to have a computer back! YEA!! Blessings to you in your week!
