Look at this sweet face! Don't you just want to kiss her and squeeze her and call her your very own?
But wait! What is this? What has Willow found?
Chicken poo poo. For an afternoon snack.
Fear not! After munching the flower, her breath will be as good as new. Right?
I keep pictures of this close to my eyes to remind me why I never!!! let that puppy ~ any dog, lick my mouth! GROSS!!
Many moons ago, back when we were tucking the kids into bed at night and laying with them to chat about the day... Oh, yea, we still do that. Anyway, we were laying with Josh and Sophie in bed and Duke, our lab, came in to be with his "pack". I was laying on the outside of Josh's bed and was in that "almost asleep" state of mind. It was calm and quiet, and then! TONGUE. IN. MY. MOUTH!! Duke was giving me a good night kiss. I gagged and was throwing my arms up and turning my head so fast, I think I got whiplash!
Let's just say that I have been incredibly mindful of where the dogs mouths are in relation to my face ever since.
And I keep a bottle of Listerine close by.
