Summer in Ohio!

Well, at least it felt like summer!  It was about 80 degrees in the sun!  We have needed a good day like this here in the 'ol bipolar Buckeye State!

After church we came home and grilled out - steaks.  They were so good.  However, Zach decided that he thought he should tell Rodger that Mr. MIller's steaks are cooked better...  That went over like a lead balloon.

After our yummy steaks I rounded up the urchins and off we trotted to Malabar Farm.  It was a most beautiful day to be outside and we were able to see some baby goats that were one day old.  They were so cute!

At one point Cayden was running around and he screams out, "I AM HAVING SOOO MUCH FUN!!!!"  It was cute.

We also ran into some very cranky geese.  They were feeling a little protective of the area we were at because they apparently like to lay their eggs in the highest traffic area.  Cranky 'ol biddy's!  They were honking and at one point had heads down in the, "I dare you to take one more step closer" mode!  They were ready to attack.  So in the spirit of charity we decided to move.  We were not afraid.  At all.

Then I snapped a few pics of a cute girl I know...

And everyone and their brother stopped us along the way to check out the chick magnet.  Except there were no available boys with us.

She's pretty frail still and really didn't want to walk after awhile.  So we had to carry the poor baby.

And then since I'm sure that because today was 80 degrees it stands to reason that tomorrow we will probably have three feet of snow.  Just saying.  That is how Ohio rolls.  For now though, we had a beautiful sign of spring and summer on its way:

Grape Hyacinths

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and were able to enjoy some sunshine and warmth!

Blessings to you, Tammy
