My favorite bloodsucking, disease carrying insect...

Ticks.  We had our first sighting.  It was on Zach's head!  EWWWW!!!

Chloe had a softball game tonight and before the game started Zach was off frolicking in the wooded area.  Somewhere along the way he picked up a starving tick.  I imagine it was something to behold.  Apparently Zach was a little stressed out.  I wasn't around tonight to manage the crisis.  I was off getting pictures of a ballerina at her final dress rehearsal for Cinderella.

Sorry, tangent.  Back to our regularly scheduled tick program...

Here is a little cutie.  Maybe you'll get one too!

So here is the string of text messages that I received:

Rodger:  Do you have any ideas for pulling a tick off of Zach's head?
Pause.
Pause.
Pause.
Rodger:  Crisis averted.  I kept pulling and the tick came out along with part of Zach's head and hopefully none of what appeared to be his brain.

No periods.  No comma's.  Just some head skin and potentially part of his brain...

I'll let ya know if his brains leak out.  This could be interesting.  The good news is that he already took his standardized tests...

Tick free and enjoying life,
Tammy
